NORTH YORKSHIRE POLICE AND YORK CITY FOOTBALL CLUB FOUNDATION EVENT - SUNDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER 2017

Good Afternoon,

North Yorkshire Police are working with York City Football Club Foundation and PlayFootball to engage different local communities in a football tournament later this year.

On Sunday 3 September, a seven-a-side football tournament will take place at PlayFootball pitch on Stirling Road, Clifton Moor. The aim is for community groups, including young people and minority groups, to put forward teams to take part in the event.

The tournament will run from 10am and 2pm, and 12 teams of seven players are required. Food and drink will be available, and there will be music from local bands

The tournament will provide a fantastic opportunity for different members of the community to get together and have fun, and I would urge you all to take part.

Please let me know if you would like to be involved and enter a team, or if you have any questions about the event.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Many thanks,

Rachel Simspon
Collar Number 5080

FAMILIES CONTINUOUS ATTITUDE SURVEY (FAMCAS)

The 2017 Families Continuous Attitude Survey (FAMCAS) provides the opportunity for Army spouses/civil partners to express their views about a range of issues that affect their life as a Service family. The evidence provided by these views is a vital source of information that assists the Army in developing future personnel policy.

To support this process, it is important that the collective views of spouses/civil partners of Officers and Soldiers alike are communicated to the wider Army.

MOVING HOUSE SOON? - REDIRECT YOUR MAIL TO PREVENT AGAINST IDENTITY FRAUD

Why redirect your mail?
All fraudsters need to piece together your ID is a few pieces of mail sent to an old address. The Redirection service is the simple and convenient way to ensure your mail moves home with you, and it’s also an easy way for you to be protected too.
Action Fraud recommends redirecting your mail for at least a year, to significantly reduce the risk of identity fraud.

How it works

  • Redirection forwards all the mail sent to your old place to your new home
  • It can cost as little as £5.25 a month* to redirect your mail
  • You can redirect your mail for 3, 6 or 12 months
  • Already moved? No problem. Tell us now to make sure your mail follows you to your new address

FISHING FOR FORCES

Fishing for Forces is a Non-Profit Organisation with the view that anyone who has been affected by Operational Duties could do with a touch of peace and quiet and would benefit from the healing effect of spending a day by the water.

Our aim is to provide fishing for those returning from Operational Tours.  The therapeutic qualities of fishing is such that anyone can benefit from the rest and relaxation of the sport, even if they’ve never fished before. We can cater for veterans from all conflicts (Falklands, IraqAfghanistan, all the way back to WWII).

This also provides, in a modest way, a means by which those of us not in the Services can show our appreciation of what they sacrifice for us.
